Key Lime Pie Bites

Makes 30 to 45 mini key lime pies.

Ingredients
3        -        Packages     Frozen Mini Filo Shells (15 per package)

Filling

1        -        14 Oz Cans Sweetened Condensed Milk

1/4     -        Cup            Light Sour Cream

3/8     -        Cup            Key Lime Juice (or Lime Juice)*

-        -        Zest             of 2 Key Limes (or 1 Regular Limes)

*May need more than 2 key limes or more than one regular lime for the juice.

Topping

-        -        -                  Whipped Cream (Home made, or from a can)

 

Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Whisk together sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, lime juice, and lime zest in a mixing bowl
    3. Scoop a dollop into each of the unbaked filo shells.
    4. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
    5. Cool for at least 20 minutes. (Once cool, these can be stored in refrigerator in a plastic bag.)
    6. When serving, top with whipped cream.
