Popovers

Makes 6 popovers.
Ingredients
1 1/4 Cups Milk
1 1/4 Cups Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
3 - - Jumbo Eggs

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Generously grease non-stick popover cups with room temperature butter.
- Pour milk into medium size mixing bowl.
- Add flour and salt mixture.
- Using a hand (rotary) mixer or wire whisk, beat until well blended (smooth). Do no overbeat!
- Add eggs one at a time. Mix in eggs with hand mixer until just completely blended.
- Pour batter into popover cups. Fill to three-fourths full.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes and then reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking for 15 - 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
- Temperature and baking time is based on using heavy duty popover cups such as Baker's Advantage - Black Steel Bakeware or similar.
